Air Fryer Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yep. You read that right.

Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Made in the AIR FRYER.

Honestly. I might prefer these over oven baked cookies! Crispy on the outside, and soft and gooey on the inside.

Oatmeal raisin cookies are gross. Which is why I went with oatmeal chocolate chip for this recipe. The oatmeal adds a little beef to the cookie, if you know what I mean. It creates a nice dense-ness without overpowering the cookie. And who doesn't love a classic chocolate chip cookie? This oatmeal chocolate chip combination is basically a beefy chocolate chip cookie....that is #dairyfree and #glutenfree!

I almost burned my house down making these cookies. I placed my parchment paper in the air fryer when it was pre-heating, and the air pushed the parchment paper to the heating coils at the top of the air fryer. WHOOPS. I was able to pull out the burned parchment paper before any real damage happened.

So my advice to you, don't pre-heat your air fryer with the parchment paper in it. I would also take a further step by stabbing holes into your parchment paper (if it doesn't already have them) to get better air flow throughout the unit. Right before you are ready to place your cookies in, drop the paper in and then directly place the cookie dough on top. Hopefully you have better luck than I did on my first try!

Get out that air fryer and make these MF cookies! XOXO
