Apple Cakelets
Can you believe Thankgiving is right around the corner? YIKES. Where did October go??
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year, and I hate that it goes by so quickly. The weather is perfect, the social schedule is full, and it is full of birthdays and celebrations.
Now that we live in a place that actually experiences the fall season, I have been living for these fall dessert recipes. Give me allll of the pumpkin and apple things!
Anywho. Have you heard of cakelets before? They are the cutest little mini cakes on the planet that come in all different shapes and sizes. I found this cuteee cakelet pan at Home Goods and I COULDN'T resist.

I went back and forth on whether to do pumpkin or apple for this one. I don't think you can go wrong with either...but apple just felt right for this one.
The apple cake is perfectly soft but not too sweet. The vanilla maple glaze is the perfect pairing with this as it gives it that touch of sweetness the cake needs.
Give these cutie cakelets a try! I am thinking this is a perfect Thanksgiving treat - especially for the little ones! Happy baking - XOXO
